Please Pray for our Trip!

Dear Prayer Partners,

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Good News that we celebrate this Christmas season. He came to this earth born of a virgin, lived a perfect, sinless life so that all who believe in Him can have eternal life. Unfortunately, many today will celebrate this Christmas season but do not have a truly Biblical understanding of what Christmas is. This week, Candace and I will leave for a survey trip to the United Kingdom. We believe that this trip, which we have been planning for many months, is vital in so many ways. This will be Candace’s first visit to the UK and my first trip since 2019. Because of Covid, a lot has changed since I last visited. Candace and I will be going to the United Kingdom December 11-21!

Now there is a new variant of Covid called Omicron. Because of this variant, the UK and the US have put stricter travel restrictions. As of today, December 5, we must take a Covid test before we depart for the UK, when we arrive in the UK, and before we return to the US.

We ask that you pray that Candace and I will test negative for all three tests we must take. We know that God is in control and leading us to the United Kingdom. There are so many questions we have asked ourselves about this trip and if we should still go due to the new restrictions. However, we know God does not want us to live in fear; he wants us to live in His strength. Therefore, we are to follow Him as He leads us.

• Would you please pray that we will test negative each time for Covid?

• Would you please pray that God will direct our steps?

• Please pray that God will give us safety as we travel.

• Please pray that souls will be reached due to us traveling to the UK.

We are looking for those who believe in the Great Commission and Candace and me. Will you take a moment and pray for us right now? Will you ask God for His protection on my family and me? Will you ask God if He could use you to help us?
