Survey Trip Report and 2022

Dear Prayer Partners,

This January, we are thankful for many things. First, God allowed Candace and me to go on a survey trip to the United Kingdom last month. God knew the obstacles we would face when planning this trip last summer. However, God also knew the blessings we would receive from this trip. Candace had never been to the United Kingdom before, and God made it clear that this trip should focus on Candace seeing the land and allowing God to work in her.

God used this trip to open Candace’s eyes to the spiritual need of the English people. Moreover, of her own needs to be willing to reach out of her comfort zone to reach them. During our second day out, the Lord moved her heart for the next generation of England. She watched a dejected-looking girl get onto the empty bus and go to the farthest possible seat, a clear sign that she had no desire to interact with anyone. Seeing this girl made Candace wish she could fix her pain and heal her heart. After that, Candace knew that no matter where God would have us plant a church, we needed to bring the hope of Christ to the next generation. Later God increased this burden; as we talked with an older lady, she expressed her concern for her great-grandchildren’s generation.

Furthermore, when we rode on one of our final trains before heading home, Candace overheard two preteens talking with their dad. They recounted many horrible situations at school and how difficult it was living at “mom’s” house. Candace’s heart ached for this broken family!

We are thankful to the Kendall Park Baptist Church of Princeton, New Jersey, and the Victory Baptist Church of Darlington, South Carolina, for their generous giving. We are also thankful for friends that gave for this trip. Their selfless giving allowed us to go on this trip and for Candace to see the need to have a burden to reach the British for Christ.

I am at Tri-State Bible Camp in New Jersey as I write this letter. The camp is right on the borders of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. This morning as I was going out to get a coffee, God reminded me of how blessed we are that God moved us to New Jersey. This new journey in life has been helpful for my family! God has worked in us in so many ways since we moved to New Jersey. Please pray for us as we work at Kendall Park Baptist Church and that God would use this to prepare us for ministry in the United Kingdom.

I start my Seminary studies at Maranatha Baptist Seminary this week. This past weekend, I met with Mark Herbster, Dean of Maranatha Baptist Seminary. God allowed me to attend Ambassador Baptist College for my undergraduate studies. I am forever indebted to Ambassador Baptist College for my training there. I learned to know and grow in the Grace of God.

Please pray for us this year and that God will use this year’s events to prepare us for ministry in the United Kingdom.

Sincerely,

Christopher and Candace Beane
