Trusting the Lord’s Leading

Dear Friends and Supporters,
I am writing this from Heathrow Airport after spending the entire month of February in London. The Lord truly blessed this trip, and I am so thankful for how the month unfolded.
I arrived on January 31 and had the privilege of being in London for all of February. It was a joy to preach in person rather than over WhatsApp and to spend meaningful time with the church family face to face.
During my time, I enjoyed fellowship with many members of Downham Baptist Church and shared several meals with them. We also held a Trustees meeting in person for the first time since I became pastor, which was significant. This past Sunday, a lady who had been attending for some time officially joined the church — a wonderful encouragement to us all.
While I was in London, Downham Baptist Church received indefinite approval to sponsor. This now allows us to apply for a one-year Charity Worker visa with Downham Baptist. We are moving forward with this step, trusting the Lord fully. If this is the amount of time God gives us in the UK, we desire to serve Him faithfully and follow His leading for whatever comes next.
There have been moments in this journey when I wondered if we would ever make it to the UK. Yet through every season, the Lord has been faithful even when we doubted. He has reminded us again and again that this work is His.
I am flying back today and am looking forward to being home with Candace and Theodore. Please pray for us over the next month as we complete and submit our one-year visa applications. We are asking the Lord for clarity, provision, and continued guidance.
Please continue praying for Halla as she has begun her studies at Cedarville University this spring, pursuing her degree in social work. Pray for her spiritual growth, godly friendships, and wisdom in her studies as she adjusts to this new season.
