September 2025 Prayer Letter
Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are thankful for each of you and the way you faithfully partner with us through prayer and support. Your encouragement has carried us through what has been both a busy and stretching season as we prepare for our permanent move to England.
Visa & Immigration Update
Over the past several months, we worked diligently with the trustees at Downham Baptist Church to secure the ability for the church to sponsor Candace in as a Biblical Counselor. While much progress was made, after careful thought, prayer, and legal counsel, the trustees and I have agreed that it would be wisest for me to apply once again for the Global Talent Visa. This visa route will allow our family to move forward with greater long-term stability, while also giving us flexibility in ministry and outreach. Though it has required us to adjust our timeline and strategy, we are confident that the Lord has directed this step.
Please join us in praying specifically that I will be able to submit the Global Talent Visa application within the next four weeks. This is our most urgent prayer request, and we are trusting the Lord to guide each step of the process. During this time, I will also be making a slight change to my website as part of this application process. Even in this time of preparation, the Lord continues to open doors for ministry. I have had the privilege of preaching remotely for the congregation at Downham Baptist Church. Though we are separated by miles, it has been a joy to open the Word of God with them and to stay closely connected. We are humbled that the church family there has continued to pray for us and express their eagerness for our arrival.
Family Update
Halla has prayerfully decided to take some time off from school this year. She is currently serving at Fayetteville Street Christian School as the Aftercare Coordinator and also assisting in the Pre-K Department. This has been a wonderful opportunity for her to gain experience, serve in a Christian environment, and prepare for the future.
Theodore is thriving in school and keeps us smiling with his energy and curiosity. Candace and I are grateful for the Lord’s grace in helping our family navigate this season of change.
Praise & Prayer Requests
We are deeply grateful for your continued prayers and financial partnership. The Lord has already provided so much—our outfit and passage costs are fully met, and most of our monthly support is in place. We continue to trust Him to provide the remainder as we prepare to move.
